Year 12 Graduation Project

United Israel Appeal Victoria has a tradition of presenting Year 12 graduating students from the four largest Jewish day schools in Melbourne with a special gift in honour of their graduation.

For the past few years, UIA Victoria has provided each student either Tefilat Haderech, Ethiopian Bookmarks, Mezuzot, etc. Enclosed with each gift is a ‘Mazal Tov’ certificate and a congratulatory letter from Jack Smorgan AO, UIA’s Federal President and Immediate Past-Chairman.

Our Mission Statement:

Keren Hayesod- United Israel Appeal, through a partnership between Israel and Diaspora communities, mobilises support for Israel and the rescue of Jews in distress.

By encouraging and assisting in Aliyah and absorption, Keren Hayesod saves Jewish lives, strengthens Jewish identity, fortifies the fabric of Israeli society and reinforces solidarity within the Jewish people.
