Women’s Division
The International Women’s Division of Keren Hayesod –UIA’s- objective is to engage Jewish women as active participants in promoting immigration and absorption in Israel, rescuing Jews in danger and strengthening the State of Israel. This goal is primarily achieved by raising precious funding.
Women’s Division Victoria takes great pride in its commitment to educating women and school-aged children about the current situation in Israel and keeping Israel and the work of UIA and Keren Hayesod worldwide alive and active. By promoting Hasbara (disseminating the Israel message) through activities with Victorian Jewish women and school-aged children, the importance of continuity and future of the Jewish nation and heritage and the connection to the State of Israel is acknowledged.
Women’s Division Victoria encourages all Jewish women in the community to join us and make a difference. Through involvement in the Women’s Division, women are able to have strong leadership roles and act as valuable and contributing members of the community.
