AIJAC, UIA and ZCV held an open forum in June with Middle East Expert Dr Michael Rubin at Beth Weizmann. Dr Rubin discussed the current situation in the Middle East, the nuclear regime and particularly how the situation in Turkey has changed.

  Mark Leibler AC is the recipient of the Goldstein Prize for Distinguished Leadership, the most prestigious distinction awarded by Keren Hayesod-UIA, for 2011. The former Chairman of the KH-UIA World Board of Trustees (2005-2009), Mark Leibler, one of Australia's leading tax lawyers and corporate strategists, has for decades filled top leadership positions in the Australian Jewish community as well as in the international Jewish world. He has held leadership positions in most of Australia’s major Jewish organizations. He served for ten years as President of the Zionist Federation of Australia and for six years as the President of the United Israel Appeal of Australia.
