Yachad is a group between Young UIA and Main Appeal. The fundamental principal of the group is to raise much needed funds to help in saving Jewish lives through the building of the State of Israel and in supplying its human needs. In doing so, it is hoped that the State of Israel will continue to flourish and prosper.
Yachad was established to fill the gap that exists between Young UIA and Main Appeal and provides these people with interesting social events and functions and stimulating them with interesting guest speakers. In doing so, these members can offer the community incredible human, economic and intellectual potential. The objective is to give these potentials the space and environment to grow in order for them to become active members of the Jewish community.
In Hebrew the word YACHAD translates as “togetherness”. This reinforces the link to join hands and face the future problems of the State of Israel united.
The Yachad group provides an opportunity for donors “graduating” from the young leadership group, to move into adult giving and to eventually progress into UIA’s Main Appeal Division.
